Our Wonderful House

Day 105

As you can see, Katelyn and Reese missed out on seeing the house this time.   They were exhausted from all their playtime together! 

 

Our appliances are in!  The house looks great.  We are getting quotes on blinds for the house and for landscaping.  Only a few weeks left!!!

Day 99

Last week we went to the house to see the flooring that was put in.  We're still waiting on appliances and touch-ups.  We'll be going by later today (about a week from our last visit) so we'll see how the house looks today.

Day 82

We went by the home this evening (so the pictures are darker than usual) and there are many new changes.  First of all, the door was locked, but we were able to get in through the garage's back door.  We now have a garage door.  There were outlets, doors, lights, towel racks, and they are getting ready to put the sinks in.  The walls are also up along the side of the house and the back of the house.  We could finally get a better idea of the size our backyard will be and we were happy with it!  Can't wait to move in!!!

Day 78

Our granite is in!!!  It's looks so great.  Kim (our salesperson) was telling me that Jerry (the builder) could not believe that our granite was the standard granite because it looks so good!  And the stain on our banister is on and it is beautiful.  The house is looking amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Day 75

I can't believe it's already been 75 days.  The roof has been completed.  They are painting the inside of the house and the tile in the bathroom has been started.  Today was also locked in our interest rate so now we just pray that the house closes on time!  So Exciting!!!

Day 70

We went in the house again tonight and what a thrill it was to see the cabinets installed throughout the house!  We have been told all along that once the cabinets are in, they will have a more exact date of when we might be able to close escrow.  So Ken will call tomorrow to see what the anticipated date is. 

Day 67

What a surprise it was to drive by the house today and see it painted with shutters on and some rocks placed on the front! It's beautiful!!! I can't wait to see what the inside looks like!

Day 65

I drove by the house today.  They've started adding some of the accent pieces to the outside of the house.  Two of the houses that they are building have a coat of paint on them so hopefully we'll see some color on the house soon!

Today we were able to walk through the house and see the walls with drywall on them.  It was thrilling to see the house so complete and got us so excited to move in soon.  We also continue to see God's fingerprints on this house.  As we walked through, there were open boxes that the workers are using on the house.  On each box was the Christian fish symbol.  We are so thankful that some of the products used on our house are produced by a Christian company.
