Pool Construction Day 5

Today the rebar company was here to do the reinforcing bars in the pool.  It is fascinating to watch the guys work because they knew exactly what to do and finished the job so much faster than I ever could!  At the end of the day we had some pipes and pool equipment dropped off for the next day's work.  So exciting!

Pool Construction Day 4

Day 4 included a lot of prep for the next few days.  The workers were doing some things to the pool to prep it for the rebar.  They also took out some cement so they can do the plumbing for the pool.

Day 3 was the final day of digging (as far as I know).  The pool shape has been established and it's a great size.

The pool really began to take shape today.  We're happy with the design of it!

It's amazing to transform the backyard from flat dirt to an in-ground pool.  The workers knew exactly what to do and it was fascinating to watch.

Something May Be Happening...

I noticed these small little flags marking where certain pipes are in the ground.  Then I noticed this bright blue line. I thought it was marking the property line, but instead it's marking the water pipes.  Are these signs that the pool construction will begin soon???
